About Chef Ray Sheehan

My name is Ray Sheehan, I’m an award-winning chef, grill master, and cookbook author. I am also a featured contributor to Barbecue News Magazine and the Baseball and BBQ Podcast.

The Chef Ray Sheehan brand is a multi-award winning, line of all-natural sauces and seasonings based in New Egypt, New Jersey.

My passion for quality food led me to create these artisan products. They are made in small batches, using premium ingredients, and handcrafted to produce big flavor. We focus on making products that are free of additives, artificial flavors, and colors – or as we like to say, “all the flavor without the junk”.

It's that promise that guides everything we do at Chef Ray's.

I’ve worked in the food industry all my life. At an early age I’d spend countless hours at my grandfather’s farm where he gifted me an appreciation for hard work and honest good food.

In my 25+ years working in food service, I’ve seen businesses and trends come and go, many of those businesses losing focus for what is important.

I remain steadfast in my mission to create high quality food products in small batches, using only premium, all natural ingredients. After all, good food speaks for itself.

The Chef Ray Sheehan brand is the perfect blend of culinary know how and BBQ prowess.
